MAKING FELT CASTLES

This workshop challenges you to rethink about the objects you see in everyday life, and questions how the meanings of objects can change when the material changes.
Through this workshop, we will see the context changes of everyday objects by using different materials. We will observe these changes through our own experiences. In the first week, we will start our experiments with wool material, and use everyday objects as our molds. In the second week, we will use several materials to re-shape/ re-function/ re-contextualize these objects, design our final proposals and present them in the end. We will be observing the relationship between the process of producing the material and the DIY/making culture, while questioning how we characterize the objects.
